Sweetness

Sweetness is so very sweet,
Yet, it sometimes has such a bitter taste.
It hands you the world,
...and on a silver platter at that.
But I never wanted this treatment,
I wanted to earn the world
on my own accord.

Sweetness treats you so very well,
as though you are fragile
...in every aspect of this world.
Sweetness looks up to you
from down below your pedestal.

Sweetness is so sweet,
...so sweetly sickening,
like devouring to many sweet chocolates
in such a short time.
